ScanFai EULA

1. License Grant

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use ScanFai with DocFai for authorized clinical and administrative workflows. This license is provided for professional healthcare use and not for resale, sublicensing, or redistribution.

2. Allowed Use

• Use only with approved DocFai user accounts.
• Use only for lawful medical, operational, and administrative purposes.
• Follow institutional policy for patient data handling.
• Keep device, credentials, and session access secure.

3. Restricted Use

• No reverse engineering, tampering, or bypassing controls.
• No unauthorized sharing of protected health data.
• No use that violates local healthcare or privacy laws.
• No bulk scraping, automated misuse, or abusive traffic patterns.

4. Account and Access Controls

• Access is role-scoped and may be restricted by organization policy.
• Access tokens and sessions may be revoked for security reasons.
• You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

5. Data and Compliance

You remain responsible for lawful capture, upload, and processing of patient-related data. ScanFai supports compliance controls but does not replace your professional, legal, or regulatory obligations. This includes obligations under GDPR, confidentiality rules, patient record requirements, and any healthcare laws applicable in Sweden or the jurisdiction where the service is used.

6. Updates and Service Changes

We may release updates, security patches, and feature changes. Continued use after release may require updated app versions.

7. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Sweden, unless mandatory law in your country of residence or operation within the EEA requires otherwise. Any dispute shall be handled by the competent courts of Sweden unless mandatory law provides another forum.

8. Warranty and Liability

The app is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, the provider disclaims implied warranties and limits indirect or consequential liability. Nothing in this EULA excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Suspension and Termination

This license may be suspended or terminated in case of misuse, security risk, fraud signals, policy violation, or legal non-compliance.
